About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Administration Officer to join our team at BaptistCare Kalkarni, Brookton. This role involves providing administrative assistance to support the daily operations of the facility. You will work closely with the Manager of Residential Care as well as other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors.
  • Manage administrative aspects of resident admissions and discharges
  • Process accounts receivable and payable and place purchase orders as required
  • Act as a point of contact for resident enquiries and refer them to the appropriate area
  • Perform general administration tasks such as filing, mail processing, data entry, word processing, minute taking, and photocopying.
  • Maintain records to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with Occupational Safety and Health policies.
  • Actively contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Baptistcare Code of Conduct, policies, and procedures.

  • You are competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Attitude and approachability are every bit as important as previous administration skills. A warm and caring nature is essential to be successful in this role.
