About the role 
As a Social Club Activity Officer with BaptistCare At Home, you’ll be the heartbeat of our Social Support programs at our Ashfield location - bringing joy, laughter, and purpose to the lives of older Australians. You’ll develop genuine connections with clients and their loved ones, supporting programs that optimise health, encourage engagement, and promote independence.

Your day may include:

  • Planning and coordinating vibrant Social Club activities and group outings
  • Creating personalised experiences that reflect each client’s goals and interests
  • Bringing fresh ideas and a flair for fun to every program you run
  • Matching clients with the right sessions to build connection and comfort
  • Ensuring every venue is safe, welcoming, and full of good vibes
  • Championing our Well-Living approach to support holistic wellbeing

What do we need from you?

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent, Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or relevant experience in activity program coordination
  • Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance
  •  First Aid Certificate
  •  Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills and proven organisational ability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to support BaptistCare’s Christian identity and values
