About BaptistCare Warabrook Aged Care Facility

Set amongst picturesque gardens and a host of convenient amenities, the Warabrook Centre is located in the suburb of Warabrook in Newcastle.

As a well-established centre that supports 153 residents, Warabrook’s trained staff provide kind, friendly and personalised services including respite, palliative and dementia care.

About the role

Reporting to the Residential Manager, Warabrook Centre is seeking experienced Care Service Employee/Servery Staff to join their team on permanent full-time basis. If you’re reliable, motivated and passionate about caring for older people, we would love to hear from you.

Duties may include:

  • Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high quality nutritious meals to our residents. 
  • Reporting, documentation and collection of stores from main kitchen.

About you

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people. You will need previous experience in kitchen and cleaning along with understanding of work health and safety practices. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.

Please note: Anyone visiting a residential home is required to have an up-to-date influenza and covid19 vaccination.
