Relief Regional Operations Manager

About the role:

As the Relief Regional Operations Manager, you will relieve the current Regional Operations Managers during periods of leave or when extra support may be needed. Working closely with the General Manager of the residential division you will support potential acquisitions and work on specific projects to optimise processes and systems across the division. The role requires you to be flexible with travel and staying overnight at any location where relief is required throughout NSW and ACT.
You’ll also collaborate with other Regional Operational Managers to drive a consistent high performance culture.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the commissioning and acquisitions of new sites
• Foster a culture of best practice by providing leadership and support
• Regularly reporting to the General Manager Residential on key issues
• Lead and support a culture that reflects BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values

About you:

To be successful, you will have the following:
• Degree qualified, in Nursing, Allied Health or Operational Leadership (AHPRA registration advantageous)
• Possess a calm manner and approach to mentoring and complex problem solving
• Previous Regional Support experience and understanding of challenges within rural areas
• Extensive knowledge and experience in aged care operations management
• Commissioning experience within an aged care setting
• Knowledge of accreditation, legislation, regulations and issues affecting aged care
• Demonstrated financial management and budgeting experience
• A current driver’s license and flexibility to travel and work across various locations
