About the role

BaptistCare Warabrook Centre is looking for permanent full-time Registered Nurse staff to join our dedicated team. 

In this role, you’ll plan, organise and implement care in accordance with individual resident aged care plans and deliver and promote high standards of professional care. An experienced leader, you will provide clinical leadership, support and guidance to our Care Staff.

There are a variety of day and night shifts available. New graduates are encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $38.80 - $48.88/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

Skills and experience required

• A qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
• Prior experience in a clinical leadership role preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders including residents, families, friends, medical professionals and colleagues
• Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations

About BaptistCare Warabrook Aged Care Facility

Set amongst picturesque gardens and a host of convenient amenities, the Warabrook Centre is located in the suburb of Warabrook in Newcastle.

As a well-established centre that supports 153 residents, Warabrook’s trained staff provide kind, friendly and personalised services including respite, palliative and dementia care.
