Physiotherapist I Mid North Coast

About the role:

Provide high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention to our clients under the Home Care Package program. These services aim to promote independence and restore functional independence to enable clients to remain living at home.  

Your team:

Due to growth, we are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team in a permanent part time capacity. You will be set up to work from home and will report to the Allied Health and Development Unit Manager. You will be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary team who believe in discovering what’s possible in people’s lives and empowering them to live well. Our unique Well-Living approach to care enables our clients to live their best possible lives at home, where they’re surrounded by the people, community, and memories they love most. About you:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority
  • Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community 
  • Postgraduate experience working in a variety of aged care services, including the community 
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and well-living models, including reablement and restorative care models
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and independently 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilise required software to support working from home
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisations values through interactions at work
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain  
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license and a reliable registered vehicle with minimum of Third-Party Insurance
