Implementation Manager | Community Services

Reporting to the  Group Manager Strategic Research, Projects and Innovation, you will provide leadership and management of the implementation of the integrated services approach and structure across the Community Services & Housing Division.

Your strong change management skills will enable you to identify and address any potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns. Your project management skills will allow to deliver key outcomes and milestones in the project. Your relationship management skills will allow you ensure a smooth transition to the new system and allow you to work with various stakeholders to deliver on the project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing high level leadership and expert advice on best practice change management processes.
  • Leading and managing the implementation of the integrated services approach and structure.
  • Working with HR to review, change and update any PDs as for the new structure. 
  • Working with the Change Lead, you will provide leadership of the change management processes to ensure smooth and efficient transitions for staff.
  • Leading and coordinating the development of all necessary standardised training and information packages required to introduce and support the new system.
  • Ensuring appropriate engagement of staff at all levels to enable input into the project.
  • Ensuring effective timing, phasing and coordination of the implementation of the project for operations and the organisation.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Project and Change management roles

 

Essential competencies:

  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
  • Proven skills in implementing and developing business systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge of project and change management approaches.
  • The ability to think strategically in the design and achievement of systems and business objectives.
  • Convey a positive attitude with the capacity to take the initiative and be innovative.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and people management skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, technology skills and experience in business analysis.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience in working within the NFP sector (desirable)
