About BaptistCare Kularoo Centre

Designed in a coastal homestead style, the well-loved centre provides 160 beds catering for all levels of care, including respite, Ageing in Place, dementia, and palliative care.  

About the role

Kularoo Centre is seeking a casual staff to work in our Catering, Cleaning and Laundry departments. This position on a casual basis will have ongoing and regular hours should your availability match the rostered shifts and there is view to a permanent contract

Duties may include:

• Servery assistance such as serving food, setting tables and cleaning up
• Preparing tea & coffee, making toast, assisting with food preparation
• Laundry duties
• Folding clothing
• Room cleaning as scheduled
• Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all roles
  
  

About you

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.

• Previous experience kitchen, laundry and cleaning is desirable
• Understanding of work health and safety practices 
• You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks
