About the role

BaptistCare is seeking a full time Handyman/Gardener to join our Home Modifications team.  Your role is to provide timely and quality maintenance and modification service to the residential properties of the frail aged, disabled and their carers where appropriate. You will use your all round handyperson skills and eye for detail to provide these services. The role will include landscaping, gardening and lawn care for our residential aged care facilities and our home assist program.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous hands-on experience in lawn mowing and gardening
• General home maintenance/repair skills
• The ability to complete jobs in a set time frame and limited supervision
• A trade qualification or background in building maintenance/carpentry is preferred but not essential.  However all round handyperson skills are required
• Experience working within an aged care environment is desirable.
• A current NSW/ACT Drivers Licence
• Ability to take on physically demanding tasks.
