About the role:

As a Payroll Officer, you will provide high-quality end-to-end payroll processing services to ensure BaptistCare employees are paid and receive their entitlements correctly and on time.

About you:

To be considered, you will have:

  • Considerable experience in payroll processing experience
  • Ability to interpret and deal with multiple sets of employment conditions and contracts
  • An understanding of legislated minimum employment conditions and remuneration entitlements in Australia
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work accurately within tight deadlines
  • A detail focus for accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills
  • T1 Payroll System experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work
  • Practices communication that is respectful, open, consistent and two way
