About the role:

Reporting to the Data and Analytics (D&A) Manager, The Data Architect is responsible for creating and implementing data architecture, whilst also assisting the Business Technology Services (BTS) leadership team in driving the implementation of the D&A Strategy.

This newly created opportunity will see you working with a broad range of stakeholders from the D&A team, BTS team, Azure experts, business representatives, as well as various technologies to deliver and implement the detailed design.

Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Azure Data Platform tools like Azure Synapse, ADF, Data Lake, Databicks, and Power BI and will have an innate ability to visualise and present data architecture concepts to broad range of stakeholders

What you will bring to the role:

• Degree in Information Technology or Business Intelligence
• 6+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies like SSIS, SSAS.
• 2+ years’ experience in data warehouse development and design on both on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments/systems, and respond to changing demands.
• Certification in relevant technologies.
• Genuine alignment to BaptistCare’s purpose, mission and values.
