Our new 130 bed Griffith Centre in Canberra is conveniently located near the CBD, Lake Burley Griffin, shopping precincts and local parks. This energy efficient and environmentally sustainable building has been designed to ensure we can meet the care needs of the local community now and into the future.
BaptistCare Griffith is an innovative and modern looking facility, built to cater for people with low care, high care and dementia care needs. All our rooms feature ensuites, the facility also offers extra services
Your Role
As the Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical support and assessment for residents while also providing clinical leadership, support, and mentoring for Registered Nurses in an aged care setting. You will use your clinical expertise, leadership, and clear communication skills to assist with the provision of high-quality clinical care. With a strong understanding of quality clinical care, you will model clinical excellence, inspire, and educate other care professionals to promote continual improvement of clinical care in an aged care setting. This role offers the opportunity to specialise in a clinical area such as palliative and dementia care while also providing a high level of general clinical expertise
This role is Full time Monday-Friday
