About the role

BaptistCare Carey Gardens is recruiting for a permanent part time care worker for 60 hours per fortnight on night shifts.  As a carer you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts. 

 Duties may include:

• Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
• Assistance with medication
• Simple wound dressing
• Assistance with activities under supervision
• Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

Skills & experience

• Previous experience as a care worker
• Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• We encourage Nursing students to apply
