About the role

At BaptistCare, we’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Officer who takes pride in their work and wants to make a meaningful difference every day. With both full‑time and part‑time roles available, this is a great opportunity to join a team that values quality, teamwork, and genuine care for residents.

As our Maintenance Officer, you’ll be responsible for keeping our Macquarie Park sites operating smoothly and looking their best. You’ll support the Maintenance Team Leader with a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, gardening, inspections, and general property upkeep.

Your work helps create safe, comfortable, and welcoming spaces that residents feel every single day.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with day‑to‑day maintenance and gardening tasks

  • Carry out physical inspections of buildings and grounds

  • Support planned and reactive maintenance activities

  • Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant

  • Work safely and uphold WHS standards

  • Deliver service with empathy, patience, and respect

  • A current driver’s licence
