About BaptistCare Kularoo Centre

Designed in a coastal style, the well-loved centre provides 160 beds catering for all levels of care, including respite, ageing in place, dementia, and palliative care.  

About the role

BaptistCare Kularoo Centre is seeking Carers to join their team on a permanent part-time or casual basis to do night shift.
As a carer you'll get to know your residents and their needs and preferences during your shifts. Short term accommodation is also available for anyone applying out of the area.

Duties may include:

• Assistance with a wide range of person centered care in accordance with care plans
• Assistance with medication
• Simple wound dressing
• Assistance with activities under supervision
• Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
  
  

Skills & experience

• Previous experience as a Carer (desirable)
• Transferable skills in providing care and compassion to others
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
• OR willing to complete Certificate- Traineeships on offer to eligible candidates
• We encourage Nursing students to apply
