About BaptistCare Macquarie Park 

At BaptistCare Macquarie Park you will find three of our residential aged care facilities nestled closely together- BaptistCare Shalom Centre, Cooinda Court and Dorothy Henderson Lodge. Each centre is unique and individual, featuring tranquil gardens, an onsite cafe and Chapel and is located nearby the shopping centre and train station.


About the role

BaptistCare catering division is seeking a Cafe Assistant on a permanent part time basis to take up all-rounder cafe tasks and deliver high quality customer service to our residents. You will enjoy to take part of a big team who are committed and being able make the difference of residents lives across three aged care center's in Macquarie Park.  

Duties may include:

  • Making tea and coffee
  • Basic food preparation
  • Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Cash handling


About you

The successful applicant will be a team player with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Barista and excellent customer service skills. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised with positive and warm approach to engage with our residents and brighten up their day. You must also have 3-4 days minimum availability between to cover 8:30am – 3:30pm shifts.
