About the role:
Responsible for a portfolio of sites, the Area Manager will provide quality maintenance services and property support to a range of key stakeholders and clients across the area of Wagga Wagga.

Under limited supervision, you will manage the Reactive & Preventative Maintenance, minor capital works of sites to ensure it is maintained to the highest standard and compliant with current standards such as Aged Care Quality Standards.

In collaboration with the Operations & Facilities Manager and Site Managers, you will Review strategic asset management plans and preparing suitable programs whilst providing effective management and leadership to all staff, in alignment with the organisations purpose and values.

What you’ll bring to the role:
• Building, Trade, Facilities Management, Degree, Diploma or Certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing Preventative and Reactive Maintenance
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing maintenance staff
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in hands on property maintenance
• Experience in budgeting processes and maintaining operational budgets
• Experience managing property related contracts and contractors
• Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft 365 environment
• Driver's licence and a commitment to travelling to sites as required.
• Understanding and alignment to BaptistCare’s mission and values.
