About your new role 

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team at Aurum at BaptistCare David Buttfield Centre in Gwelup . Your role will be to provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to our valued customers. You will assist in delivering high-quality products while adhering to our established policies and procedures.

Roster:

The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Consistently deliver high-quality service to both internal and external customers, meeting our prescribed service standards.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare food and beverage products according to our standard operating procedures and duty statements.
  • Cleaning Tasks: Complete cleaning tasks as outlined in our standard operating procedures or as directed by the Chef on duty.
  • Communication: Inform the Chef on duty of any catering-related issues or needs as they arise.
  • Operational Cleaning: Fulfill any operational cleaning requirements as needed or directed by the Chef on duty.
  • Team Meetings: Attend team meetings as required to stay informed and engaged with our team.

About you:

To be considered for this role you should have

  • The ability to align to our Values
  • A good understanding of HACCP/food safety programs
  •  A passion for delivering great service and a fantastic eye for detail
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a high-performing team
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Capacity to lift up to 20kg
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
