About BaptistCare Bethshan Gardens Aged Care Facility
Wyee is a picturesque town in the Lake Macquarie region of New South Wales, surrounded by lakes, close to beaches and near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. Bethshan Gardens consists of 134 single rooms with ensuites set within a configuration of seven cottages.
Duties may include:
- Assistance with a wide range of Person Centred Care in accordance with Care Plan
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
Skills & experience
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Valid NSW/ACT Driver’s Licence (desirable)
- Reliable motor vehicle, mobile phone and access to a computer or tablet
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or a willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- We encourage Nursing and Allied Health students to apply
